MAC TIP: Taking a snapshot of your screen

Taking a Snapshot of Any Area on the Screen

Not as easy as print screen, but still works great and in fact, makes it into an image for you automatically!

Follow these steps:

  1. Command + Shift + 4. Your pointer becomes a crosshair (yes, the number 4)
  2. Drag the crosshair to enclose the portion of the screen you want to capture
  3. Let go of the crosshair and you will hear a click - MAC has taken the snapshot
  4. FIND IT! the image will be saved to your hard drive with the file name Picture(x) .. x represents the number of the picture you just snapped.

That’s it!
